His vast array of work over the years is impressive. Whether it's filming sea lions underwater for his up and coming nature documentary Seal Island, working with kids on a humanitarian project in South America, the US Navy medical teams in Haiti, or photographing giant green sea turtles for E-Magazine, Alan approaches each and every project with passion, solid planning, creative improvisation and boundless imagination. "I was drawn into food photography in particular because of my passion for great food and restaurant ambiance," says Alan. Food Photography can be very technically challenging while also offering a great opportunity to think outside the box and take an artistic approach.
